Welcome back to Term 2.This term looks like being very hectic with
some very important events. These include school photographs, Musica Viva
performance, the NAPLAN testing for Years 3 and 5, our SPARKS program, athletics
carnival, PSSA sport, half-year reports and parent / teacher interviews.It
is extremely important to check the school calendar on a weekly basis to check
dates and to ensure events are added to your diaries. Of course, the calendar
is also available on our website where you can ensure you are up to date with a

This week we finally got to complete our annual cross country carnival. After postponing the event due to the recent wet weather, the day was perfect for the runners. See all the photos and report here.
At this stage our Cross
Country Carnival planned for this Friday has been POSTPONED due to the heavy
rain on the course over the past few days. The safety of the students is
paramount and the track will be far too wet and slippery. The Carnival will now
take place next THURSDAY 3rd April in the Park.All students K-6 will walk from school arriving
for their races to start at 9.30am.Students will need to provide adequate clothing to suit the weather
conditions, drinks and recess.We will be
having lunch back at school after the carnival.If the weather is again unkind next week, a decision will be made as
early as possible to postpone the carnival. If this is the case, radio stations
will be informed and our school blog site will carry the message
This week saw the Peer Support camp for years 5 and 6. This camp prepares the students for their role in delivering the Peer support program over the next five weeks.
