Term 3 Week 10 Update

Term 3 Week 3 Update

Education Week has been a very busy week with performances by our senior choir at the Choral festival on Tuesday evening. This was followed by visits from the Fire Brigade for K-2 and NSW Cricket Sessions on Wednesday. Thursday was our Open Day with many parents taking the opportunity to see their chidrens' work first-hand. We also had the official opening of the new building on Thursday. ATHLETICS POSTPONEMENT

Unfortunately we had to make the decision to postpone tomorrow's Carnival due to the conditions at Beaton Park following the current rain. Communication with Beaton Park indicated the synthetic track would be usable but any grass actvities including long jump, discus, shot put etc. would be impossible.

The new date for the Athletics Carnival is Monday 8th August (Term 3 Week 4).

End of Term 1 Update

This week we are posting the website a day early to ensure all students access a newsletter on Thursday rather than the very busy Friday planned. On Friday we will celebrate our annual Easter Hat Parade and all K-2 students are excited. Check the new link on our website to our solar energy plant at SPPS. Term 1 ends on Friday and all students return on Thursday 28th April for the start of Term 2. See the photos from our cross country carnival and the training band concert this week.

Term 1 Week 9 Update

This week see all the photos from Kindergarten's very first excursion. The students were lucky enough to travel to Cronulla to see the Pet Street show. This interactive experience promoted the message of safe handling of pets and safety around animals, dogs in particular. All the students had a great time and learnt a lot.

Term 1 Week 7 Update

This week see all the info on the annual Clean Up Australia for Schools. All students took part in caring for our environment and collected a large amount of rubbish in the vicinity of the school and beach.

Term 1 Week 6 Update

Yesterday, our Year 6 students went to Bulli High for their Enrichment Day. All the students experienced a full day of High School with elective subjects. They had a great deal of fun and learnt a lot. See all the photos and Year 4 rocket scienece activity in the Events section.
