Industrial Action

Industrial Action - Wednesday 27 June, 2012

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have been notified that the New South Wales Teachers Federation has authorised all Federation members to stop work Wednesday 27th June, 2012. This industrial action is a FULL DAY stoppage.

All teaching staff from Stanwell Park Public will be among those participating in the stoppage.

It has been determined that the school will be unable to provide adequate supervision on Wednesday 27th June from 8.30am to 3.00pm. Therefore, in consideration of the safety of students, the school will have to be non operational for the duration of the industrial action.

Parents and caregivers are asked to make suitable arrangements for their children on Wednesday 27th June.

Please be advised that due to the full day stoppage, our Out Of School Hours Care will be not operating on Wednesday 27th June.

Mandarin classes which are normally held on Wednesday morning will not be held on Wednesday 27th June. A make up day will be organised in Term 3.
